A physician-led, seven-day immersion into the rhythms of everyday Italian life — slow food, natural movement, and true rest along the Adriatic coast.
Rooted in something beautifully simple: living well, with intention. Through timeless traditions, meaningful connections, nourishing food, and the rhythms of everyday Italian life, we invite you to discover not just how to live longer — but how to live better.

You Are Invited to the Table
There is a specific kind of person who understands that health is not a metric to be tracked, but a life to be lived — who recognizes the difference between wellness and true well-being. Because of that, we are reaching out to you personally and extending an invitation to join this experience.
The Italian Longevity Experience is a private, small-group cultural immersion designed to restore biological rhythm, nervous system balance, and long-term health through lived experience. This seven-day, physician-led journey takes place along Italy's Adriatic coast, based in Lanciano, in the Abruzzo region — and is offered by Yellowstone IV.
This is not a retreat, nor is it a lecture series. It is an in-person opportunity to experience Italy as it is lived, and to understand how place, pace, culture, and daily habits contribute to lasting health.
Led by Dr. Roberto Fars
Led by Dr. Roberto Fars — a native Italian — this experience is rooted in authentic Italian culture, with no tourism. Participants are immersed in slow food, natural movement, sunlight, water, connection, and intentional rest, allowing the body to recalibrate in an environment where longevity is a way of life rather than a concept.
Guests spend seven days eating, walking, resting, and learning alongside Dr. Fars, seeing firsthand how daily habits in Italy quietly support long life. Food, conversation, and rest are all part of the experience. Nothing is rushed and nothing is forced.
A Fully Held Seven Days

The Isole Tremiti
One full day of the immersion is a passage by ship to the Isole Tremiti, Italy's protected archipelago in the Adriatic — often called Italy's hidden islands. The approximately two-hour voyage each way is part of the experience, allowing for disconnection and marine life observation from the ship.
This day is intentionally unstructured, offering time for swimming, walking, reflection, and organic conversation. There is no itinerary to follow and no expectation to participate in anything beyond what feels natural. In Isole Tremiti, the environment is the guide: sea air, natural movement, natural light exposure, and nervous system downshifting without effort.
Time on the islands encourages presence rather than productivity — room to pause, to observe, and to experience the contrast between modern pace and natural tempo.
Rome, Lanciano, and the Isole Tremiti
Three stops, one unhurried week: a personal welcome in Rome, seven days based in Lanciano, and a full day by ship to the Tremiti islands.

Whole-Food Cooking, Italian Tradition and Better Health
Can't make it to Italy this summer? Yellowstone IV also hosts a hands-on Italian cooking class right here in Casper, led by a visiting Italian chef — whole-food cooking rooted in Italian tradition, taught in a small group and finished with a shared meal.
Limited to 10 guests per class.

From Rome to Lanciano
Participants arrive in Rome — a city steeped in history, culture, and timeless architecture, home to the Colosseum and countless other iconic landmarks. Upon arrival, guests are personally welcomed and picked up directly from the airport, then travel through the heart of Italy, passing through rolling countryside and historic towns, en route to the city of Lanciano.
Guests are welcomed with a thoughtfully prepared welcoming dinner marking the beginning of the immersion — a homemade, gourmet meal prepared and served at La Terrazza Bed and Breakfast. The meal is prepared by Dr. Fars' mother, the owner of the bed and breakfast, and reflects generations of traditional Italian cooking: warmth, family, and cultural connection. This first evening is designed to let participants unwind, connect, and settle into the experience in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
