Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing this website or booking a trip, program, or class offered by Yellowstone IV Lounges & Wellness Center (“Yellowstone IV,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or book a trip.
2. Description of Services
Yellowstone IV offers guided travel experiences, including but not limited to The Italian Longevity Experience, a physician-led group trip to Lanciano, Abruzzo, Italy, and related programs such as cooking classes. Trip itineraries, pricing, and included services are described on this website and are subject to change as noted in Section 6.
3. Booking, Deposits, and Payment
- A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a spot on a trip, as specified on the relevant trip page at the time of booking.
- The remaining balance is due by the deadline specified for that trip (currently 45 days before departure).
- Failure to pay the remaining balance by the stated deadline may result in forfeiture of your reservation and deposit.
- Group size for each trip departure is limited as stated on the relevant trip page; reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached.
- Pricing reflects group size, physician-led guidance, local access, and related program elements as described on the website, and is subject to change for future departures.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation will not result in any additional fees. The $1,500 deposit is non-refundable upon cancellation, as it secures accommodations, guides, and services that cannot be recovered once booked.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a trip due to insufficient enrollment, safety concerns, government travel restrictions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (“force majeure”), including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemic-related restrictions, political instability, or transportation disruptions. In such cases, we will work with participants in good faith regarding rescheduling or refund of amounts paid, minus any non-recoverable costs already incurred on your behalf.
5. Health, Medical, and Assumption of Risk
- Not medical treatment. Yellowstone IV’s trips, including physician-led guidance and educational content, are wellness and lifestyle-oriented and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice from your own personal physician. Nothing provided before, during, or after a trip should be construed as the practice of medicine or the creation of a physician-patient relationship, except as separately and explicitly agreed in writing.
- Consult your own physician. Participants are strongly encouraged to consult with their own personal physician before booking and before participating in any physical activity, dietary change, or travel associated with a trip, particularly if they have any pre-existing health condition.
- Assumption of risk. International travel, physical activity (including walking tours, beach and water activities, and travel by boat or vehicle), and group travel generally carry inherent risks, including but not limited to illness, injury, accident, lost or delayed luggage, travel delays, and unfamiliar terrain or road conditions. By booking a trip, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume these risks.
- No guarantee of outcomes. References to “longevity,” wellness, or health benefits describe the philosophy and educational focus of the trip and do not constitute a guarantee of any specific health outcome or result for any individual participant.
- Separate waiver required. A separate written waiver and release of claims, specific to trip participation, will be provided to each guest and must be signed prior to travel. That waiver is in addition to, and not a substitute for, these Terms.
6. Itinerary Changes
Itineraries, included activities, accommodations, and guides described on this website are current as of the time of publication but may change due to local conditions, availability, weather, or circumstances outside our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify participants of material changes.
7. Third-Party Services
Trips may include services provided by third parties, such as hotels, local guides, transportation providers, and activity operators. Yellowstone IV is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or services of these independent third parties, though we make reasonable efforts to work with reputable partners.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Wyoming law, Yellowstone IV and its owners, employees, and affiliated guides shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of this website or participation in a trip, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property loss, or travel disruption, except where such liability cannot be excluded or limited by law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yellowstone IV, its owners, employees, and affiliated guides from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your participation in a trip, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or willful misconduct.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, itineraries, and branding — is the property of Yellowstone IV Lounges & Wellness Center or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission, except as necessary to review or book a trip.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes affecting an already-booked trip will be communicated directly to affected participants.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, and any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
